I use this every summer to spray bag worms in my cedar trees (hundreds of trees). It does the job. My trees stay healthy.

Rating this 5 stars to be fair, but this product is NOT meant for and does NOT work against fungus gnats that commonly infest houseplants, despite what Amazon's algorithm seems to think!There are several kinds of Bacillus Thuringiensis and they are active against different types of insects.This one (BTk) is active against certain caterpillars. It is NOT the kind found in mosquito dunks (BTi) and will not kill the larvae of fungus gnats. Please don't buy it for this purpose. The product you want is called Gnatrol, which contains the correct strain. It is available in smaller quantities elsewhere online.

This product coupled with sticky traps have really saved my sanity. I just could get the fungus gnats under control. Since using this product (like a teaspoon in a gallon of water. Idk if that's too little or too much. And water your plants on watering day) ive gotten the fungus gnats in my house almost gone. I haven't noticed a single gnat flying around HOWEVER! I did notice some stuck to my sticky traps in my problem plant. But I can actually see an end to this issue. And it's this product. I was using mosquito bits and it's too much of a hassle to be consistent with the bits. After some digging I realized I could buy the actual chemical in the mosquito bits that kills mosquito and fungus gnats larvae. This is that chemical. It doesnt harm your houseplants in any way.Very happy customer

I've tried the other gnat powders and this is the ONLY one that actually kills them before the leave the soil. I had a terrible infestation and made the mistake of going with another brand as this one is hard to find. I learned my lesson! The gnats took over my houseplants, it was horrible. I ended up with a large supply of sticky strips to catch the adults and this powder to kill them in the soil. Be warned, though, if you have houseplant gnats that it takes over a month of consistent use to kill them off. A gnat's life cycle is just over 20 days so all it takes is a few to lay eggs and start the cycle all over again. I've found that I have to use every time I water for about 8 weeks. I never want to be without this product as long as I own houseplants!

I was late to find this product, so I would say that I had 75% success this season on my Arborvitae shrubs, etc., otherwise, I would have given it 5-stars. However, the rest I can manage by hand picking the bag worms and I will make sure I am earlier/on schedule next spring. Delivery was very fast, which I appreciated considering the price of these evergreens in Texas.

Here in Louisiana, we get a large number of different type of caterpillars that hatch in the trees and begin traveling through the yard eating gardens and stripping the leaves from many of the trees. Last year, the caterpillars stripped all the leaves from our blueberry bushes and rose bushes and many other bushes / trees.
