Sax paints are excellent. Good quality and is money saving. Since this is a heavy body paint, I don't have to use as much when mixing with a pouring medium. This paint also works great for making cells in acrylic pouring. You can either mix it with water, or with a pouring medium and water to thin. I make it either thin or thick, depending on what my consistency is for my colors. Sax is my go-to paint, it is excellent paint to use!

This is a great deal and great paint. I have ordered titanium white and Mars black. Very thick like I like acrylic paint.

We use acrylic paint for all sorts of things around here. I like that this paint can be used as it is, or I can add a medium to it for paint pouring. It covers well, dries nicely, and although I think everything is overpriced now a days I thought the price wasn’t too bad.

Either Sax or Amazon have paid attention to reviews because mine came very well packaged, with a sealing tape across the top. This is a very thick paint. It does glimpse on to my palette or into the cup, but the pigmentation is dense enough to be thinned without a problem. It’s important to understand, and to read the label, when evaluating a black paint. This is clearly stamped as Mars Black, which is a warm black with a brown undertone. Warm colors next to cool will give a better contrast. I was concerned about this as I do use a lot of black for Dutch pours and don’t want the black negative space to come forward, as they will do in traditional painting. Once thinned, they worked perfectly with other warm colors. I think this an exceptional paint for the price and will probably buy more

I am using this one item as an example to thank Amazon for their services. Mostly anything I have ordered in the last few years came in good time and worked well. As far as this kind of paint goes, I usually would not consider it to be a medium for beginners; however, as far as acrylic paint goes, this much of it for the price is really great.From what I understood, adding water to acrylic paint is not a common recommendation; the label says that it is okay to do. I diluted the paint with 50% rubbing alcohol for an actual painting, and was impressed [at least partially] with the final result. The thing that impresses me the most about this jug of paint, I can mix 3 fl. oz. of it with 3 fl. oz. of isopropyl alcohol and consider myself to have a whole jar of ink for stylish calligraphy. For
