Good is for computer use and dialing from an office location. This headset can connect to your phone and to landline and or computer used for auto dialers and telemarketing. This headset can not be used just to connect to mobile device as it needs to base station to handle connections. It does have a good connection at up to a few hundred feet at away from my testing but don’t go walk to dog or go to the gym with these on as the headset can not directly connect to mobile the phone base station and charging station handles the connection. At work I use a Mitel softphone system and Teams for my primary communication modes. We have had a heck of a time finding a headset that would allow headset controlled answering of calls on the softphone. Finally found Jabra and narrowed down to this model. The only thing i can't control with the headset is transferring calls, otherwise it's seamless.Pros:*The range for me is great, i can even walk into the hallway (about 50ft) with a closed door between me and the base and not loose connectivity. The headphones seemed to work well. After watching countless reviews I opted on this pair. I work remotely and wanted something with adequate noise cancellation (I work in our basement and can still hear screaming toddler and dog)- unfortunately the headset can cancel noise such as another person talking or a television but not what I was looking for. I was originally using the Logitech H600. Not a bad headset, except battery life was around 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The range was about 25ish feet as well. So I decided to shop for a new headset. Looking through all the different ones, I decided to purchase this one. I looked at the Jabra Evolve 40 and 80, Sennheiser MB, Plantronics Voyager, and many others. I decided to lay out what was the most important needs to what was the least important. And this is the headset that meet what I needed. The distance is amazing. In less than 10 minutes I was up and running on both my land line and on Skype. I am very pleased with this product. I've used a wired hands-free for years. People with whom I talk regularly noticed my voice was clearer right away. The build quality is excellent. I can listen to music and the sound is better than expected (not as good as high end headphones but that's not their primary function) I got at least 100 feet range if there's no obstructions. I was able to get it work work in another room with the door closed but range was less. The software setup is great for changing settings. I bought both the Jabra Evolve 75 and Engage 75 for my home office to compare. I use Microsoft Skype and Teams frequently for calls and desktop share and also have frequent phone calls to my work cell phone and also to my personal cell phone. For years I used the Sennheiser 506045 MB Pro2 UC Stereo and was frustrated with that unit, but locked in because I had spent nearly $200 on it. I should have given it up sooner.
