Ordered this for my 4 year old who wanted to be a pirate for Halloween. It was very easy to get on and off. Looked great! Only complaint would be hat kept flopping into my sons eyes.

It fit as expected. The packaging stated that it came with a red sash which was not included. Super disappointing. The outfit is super cute I just wish it was complete, instead now I am last minute running around trying to find the pieces to complete the costume.

I was very disappointed when I took the costume out of the bag and looked at it. It looked like a really cheap, crumpled mess that was going to be a disaster. I hung it on hangers and even though the hat and bottom of the pants/boot covers are foam, I steamed it to death and it came out perfectly and I was surprised how nice it looked afterwards. The jacket collar, boot covers and hat were all missshapen, but turned out fine and kept their shape. I also steamed the scarf and entire jacket. The only problem I have is that the dye came off on the steamer and also my fingers a little and when I steamed the scarf, a few small black spots got on it. My nephew is obsessed with pirates and he loves the costume! The pirate sash actually was red and not gold. However, he prefers red. The boots are attached to the pants. Tennis shoes can go under them b/c they are shoe covers that look like boots! They match the jacket which is awesome. The elastic in the waist of pants are a little snug but he didn't complain as I thought he might. It is a little oversized BUT it's something he can wear comfortably now and still grow into! It's not so oversized that he can't wear it. I'm sure he could've went down a size and worn a small BUT that would've probably been more fitted and so how long can he really wear that? Based on other reviews I had read, I was nervous about buying this costume, but we were in a hurry and it was a good price. However, it ended up working very well and was super cute on my 6 year old. The coat was very wrinkled from being in the package, but I had no problems with the color rubbing off or flaking. My suggestion would be to get it out and hang it up for awhile before wearing just to get the wrinkles out. The only downside was that it did not come with a shirt for under the vest, and we did not have a white shirt available, so my son's pirate outfit had a red logo tee showing through. Still very cute, though.

My son was extremely cute in this costume. The size was alittle big but I ordered a size 8 when he wears a size 6/7 but it still worked out perfectly. The product was as described and made of sturdy materials--he can wea it again next year!! Delivery was hassle free and it arrived before promised. Would purchase from this seller again. Thanks.

The costume was great. I wasn't to sure when it arrived because it stated for 3-4 yrs old on the front and my grandson was 6 yrs old. The Pirate costume fit great and he will be able to wear it for awhile. He looked great at his uncles Pirate birthday party.

This costume is so cute! It does have buttons on it, at least the one we got. I have read product descriptions that out and out said there were no buttons so I was pretty surprised. Things are hooked together like the vest and coat and then pants and "boots" but it is an el cheapo costume. You can't pay $20 for a costume and expect it to be theater quality. We ordered some accessories for it to really round it all out. My biggest complaint is that when I took it out of the bag, I hung it up to straiten out a little (it was in a bag it looked pretty bad) but a few minute later I noticed that my hands were black. I went back and rubbed the costume to make sure that was where I had gotten it from and it was. I ended up soaking it in epsom salt and vinegar for about a day and then rinsed it …
