This battery case serves its purpose of giving your phone an extra charge when it is dying. It takes a very long time to charge though and it is hard to charge your phone while in the case. I usually have to take my phone out of the case and charge case and phone separately. The case is not magnetic so it won’t work with MagSafe chargers. It is not too heavy and while it makes your phone ticker, is not a lot and you get used to it.

Good cases. This is to replace one that failed after a couple years. Not sure if it was the battery or the connector. It would show charging, but not charg the phone.I like the rubbery texture and added mass. IMO these phones are too thin, slick and uncomfortable without some type of case and this adds battery power I find I need on a somewhat regular basis when afield.Previously I had one of these suffer some battery heat failure to the case about 1 year into ownership. Alpatronix replaced the unit with minimal effort on my part, so they do stand behind their product and honor their warranty.

I have been a long-term user of battery cases for my iPhone. Simply, the charges won't last all day by themselves. Battery cases make sense, add heft to the holding of the phone and let me charge when I want or can.They only have limited lives...I've been through 2 dozen over the years and the longest any of them has lasted is maybe 9 months, then you need to order a new one. Either the battery stops charging up (usual case), the plug connectors wear down and won't function again or the case has a charge but will not charge up the phone. Update: I kept using my case, which is a bit inconvenient, but great battery back up. It is now June of 2023. Yesterday, I left my phone on top of my car and started driving. On a 40 mph road that police patrol regularly - so I go 40 mph - I heard a "CLUNK!" In the side mirror, I saw my phone tumbling on solid concrete. Upon retrieval, the phone was nearly unharmed. The case looks like it has roadrash. The case still works without interruption. I like this battery case a lot. A really really lot.A of all) It really protects the phone. Protects it good. It's a hard sturdy case. (I know; I've dropped it a couple times.) This is my third Case from these guys and each time they keep improving their design!I can say that this case is perfect so far! Gives me about a charge and a half. Obviously after a while the battery built in will diminish, but that’s natural and that’s nothing to worry about.Each case I’ve ever gotten had enough juice for 1.5 charges and by 2years, down to charging 20% to 80/83% before needing the case to recharge.Best thing about this is the wireless charging both phone and case and when I got the 11pro case they changed the micro to lighting charging ports.No offense the these guys but I wouldn’t use their screen cover, I usually get the Ailun brand Tempered glass, but that’s just my opinion.I’ll write more later but I really like what Apatronix has been doing to improve these cases …

**UPDATE**I used this case once the week after I bought it. It sat in a drawer fully charged for a few months after that. I took it on vacation and went to use it and it didn’t work. I tried the manual reset the company suggested without any success. The battery shows it’s fully charged but will not charge the phone. I’ve also noticed that it’s tight around the edges of the phone so it lifts my screen protector off the screen to allow air and dust to get under. I have to put a new screen protector on each time I use this case. I would stay away from this brand after I had love their earlier cases but the last two years have had poor quality control.This is the only brand I consider when buying a battery case for my new iPhone each year.
